Fox’s Cavuto Reads Brutal Viewer Hate Mail: ‘Retire. Or Just Die’

Fox News host Neil Cavuto is occasionally reading viewer mail on-air again – with the usual mixed results.

During Tuesday’s Your World, the longtime network fixture read messages that included viewers’ New Year’s resolutions.

“Remember to change the channel when Cavuto comes on,” the host said, reading a Facebook message about himself.

Other viewers offered New Year’s resolutions for Cavuto:

Finally, some were ready to offer helpful advice, like Harold in New Rochelle, New York: “How about resolving not to be such a left-wing lunatic?”

Alright [pretends to write]. Don’t be a left-wing lunatic. Got it!

Esther emails, “Lose weight. Lose the attitude. Lose the toupee. Lose the Ringling Brothers outfits, and then lose your way to work so that you never find a studio again. P.S. Happy New Year!”

Happy New Year to you as well.

Benny in Atlanta: “Make a resolution to stop saying bad things about Trump. He’s perfect. You’re just pathetic.”

Carol in Brooklyn: “Would it kill you while ripping Joe Biden’s economy to now and then go after Donald Trump and his far worse economy? You never seem to say boo about him. I guess once a right-wing nut, always a right-wing nu! Pathetic!”

Boy, I can’t win.

Anyway, Porter emails, “Fair & balanced my [ass].” That’s a nasty word. “Why don’t you just hop in and be done with it. They love the Trump bashing there! Make my year and just disappear!”

Well, I’m not disappearing.

Tony V. emails, “Here’s a good resolution: Retire or just die. Doesn’t really matter which you do first.”

That sounds like a cruel thing to say.

Anyway, this from D.L.: Quit. You suck. You are a left-wing [ass@#**.”

I can’t say that word!

Cavuto transitioned to reading a series of praiseworthy emails, including in a message from his family.

“We all think you are the funniest, warmest, cutest, and most brilliant anchor out there,” he said, reading the note. “Your smile lights up our home and every word out of your mouth stimulates stimulates our hungry brains. You are the very embodiment of a saint… and no one handles a grill better than Neil Cavuto.”

“How did that one slip in there?” he joked.
