Fox’s Ed Henry: Are Dems ‘Having a Hard Time Simply Accepting They Lost?’
Fox News’ Ed Henry, guest-anchoring Special Report this afternoon, asked today if Democrats are doing what they would have criticized Donald Trump for doing because they just can’t handle the fact they lost.
People have been reportedly pushing Hillary Clinton to push for recounts in three big states––states that Jill Stein has been raising money to push for recounts in. (Whether or not this pans out remains to be seen.)
Henry brought this up, coupled with calls for the electoral college to just give Hillary Clinton the win, and said, “I seem to remember a few weeks ago Democrats saying that Donald Trump would be a crybaby if he lost and would not accept defeat. Are Democrats having a hard time simply accepting they lost?”
Democrat Jehmu Greene said that all the talk of the Democrats being decimated is a little overplayed and she called for new leadership in the DNC.
Henry wondered if the Democrats “seem to be blowing” their opportunity on that score because of the few options they have to work with.
He also pointed out that for all the pre-election freaking out over how the GOP might be irreparably damaged by a Trump loss, it’s the Democrats now who have a crisis of leadership.
