Fox’s Outnumbered Hosts Defend Corey Lewandowski: ‘How Important is Evidence?’

OutnumberedThe hosts of Fox News’ Outnumbered are still defending Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski from the charge he assaulted former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields, arguing that there was still a “back and forth” about whether it happened and questioning how important evidence was compared to that.

“How important is evidence in a case like this, versus ‘he said, she said?’” asked Fox’s Sandra Smith asked shortly after police arrested Lewandowski.

“Evidence is important in every case, regardless of a case like this,” guest Judge Alex Ferrer responded.

“We know there’s a video,” Smith said. “It’s vague in the video what happened.”

They then played video of the incident, but not the video released by police clearly showing Lewandowski grabbing Fields. Instead, they played the C-SPAN video that only showed him reaching for her.

“There has been a back and forth over whether or not something did in fact happen,” Tantaros agreed. “A lot of people who were there said yes, it did happen and others say no. There has been this back and forth.”

“This back and forth has been happening since March 8th,” she continued, “and if you are a Trump supporter, you can read their philosophy which is online everywhere. And they’re saying she was out of line, she was trying to grab Mr. Trump, she was shouting a question, he was well within his rights.”
