Fox’s Perino: Rand Paul ‘Jumped the Shark’ by Trashing His Own Party

Fox’s Dana Perino told Bill O’Reilly tonight that Rand Paul has officially “jumped the shark” with his attacks on fellow Republicans.

Perino was mostly worked up about Paul claiming his GOP rivals secretly want an attack on America so they can blame it on him, but Paul also recently said that ISIS exists because of GOP hawks.

Perino said that Paul’s taking a “scorched-earth policy to the base” of the Republican Party at a time when people say foreign policy is a big issue for them.

She told O’Reilly Paul clearly “crossed the line” when he made the charge about his GOP rivals wanting an attack and found it particularly disturbing that he “fundraised off the issue.”
