Fox’s Rachel Campos-Duffy Declares ‘Christians Are the Most Persecuted Religion in the Universe’ During Segment About MN Shooting
Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy proclaimed that Christians “are the most persecuted religion in the universe right now” during a discussion about the tragedy that unfolded at a Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The remark came during Wednesday’s Outnumbered, as Campos-Duffy weighed in on the shooting at the Annunciation Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, earlier in the day, where two kids were killed as they sat in pews.
Campos-Duffy, the wife of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, revealed that she has a friend whose two kids are students at the school. Thankfully, they were both safe from harm.
She then referenced a June suicide bombing and attack on a Christian church in Syria and a December 2024 shooting at a Christian school in Wisconsin before declaring, “Christians are the most persecuted religion in the universe right now, in the world. So that’s definitely a potential motive.”
The motive for the Minneapolis church shooting has not yet been determined, but the Anti-Defamation League confirmed that the guns used by Annunciation Church shooter Robin Westman had antisemitic and anti-Israel references scrawled on them, along with “praise for mass killers across the ideological spectrum.”
Campos-Duffy also implored Health and Human Services chief Robert Kennedy Jr. to look into antidepressants and other medications prescribed to young children.
“I hope Bobby Kennedy looks into that,” she said.
Finally, Campos-Duffy pitched the idea of a civilian group of retired veterans to patrol schools to protect schools.

RACHEL CAMPOS-DUFFY: What I can tell you is that I happen to have a friend who has two kids that went to the school today. Preschool, kindergarten. One of them didn’t know what was going on. The other was on their way into mass. A couple things. It’s a sweet little Catholic school in a very nice neighborhood. So that’s one thing to keep note of. You talked about the first responders who rushed to the scene. So did the auxiliary archbishop. He rushed to the scene to pray with those families. Do you know what he found? One of the things you know if you have a Catholic school, you have big families. You have little kids waiting to see how their siblings were doing. If their siblings survived this attack. Very tragic. I think you bring up a really good point. That is about the last big school shooting we remember. I mean, there has been others, the last one was a lot of attention was at a Christian school. This is a Catholic school. What happened this summer in Syria in the middle of mass in June at a Greek orthodox church right in the middle of mass. Children there, 22 children killed. 62 wounded. So yes, we need to think about these things happening here. Christians are the most persecuted religion in the universe right now, in the world. So that’s definitely a potential motive. But Trey, you talked about how do we protect these schools? I think of two things. SSRIs and the kinds of medication so many young kids are on since such a young age. I hope Bobby Kennedy looks into that, our secretary of Health and Human Services. But also I have and we until now, we have talked about, how do we secure the soft targets you talked about? I’ve always wondered, why don’t we have a civilian group of retired veterans, retired cops who volunteer once they’re done to protect these soft targets, to protect our schools question what does that something that could happen.
Two children were killed while attending a school-wide church service to mark the first week of school. Another 17 others were wounded.
