George Will Irks Debbie Wasserman Schultz With Florida Is God’s Waiting Room Jab

Not Only Is Florida God's Waiting Room, It's Also The Place Where All The Crazy Stuff In America HappensGeorge Will managed to slip in a dig about Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz‘s home state of Florida during a heated discussion about Social Security ‘facts’ on This Week on ABC. Will made the old joke of Florida being God’s waiting room but in typical form he called it “God’s Antechamber.”

Will was asking Wasserman Schultz a question about whether the Democrats in the House of Representatives could make any concessions when it comes to raising ages for entitlement reforms when he took the shot at her home state.

“You’re from Florida, which is full of old people,” Will said.

“Quite a few senior citizens,” interrupted Wasserman Schultz.

“Known as God’s antechamber for a good reason,” Will said.

“Now, now. I beg to differ,” said Wasserman Schultz.

After that the Florida potshots ended.
