Geraldo: ‘Kate McKinnon Singlehandedly Can Destroy Hillary Clinton’
Political humor can have a pretty big impact on the process, but on Fox News today Geraldo Rivera deemed Kate McKinnon the one who has the power to take down Hillary Clinton.
McKinnon, of course, is the SNL performer currently tasked with impersonating Hillary Clinton. She’s already done a few sketches making fun of Clinton’s thirst for power, but last weekend, she appeared opposite the real Hillary Clinton, who played a bartender named “Val,” giving Clinton a pep talk.
Well, on Fox’s The Five today, a few of the hosts didn’t find the Clinton bit terribly funny, but Rivera recalled how “devastating” Tina Fey‘s impression of Sarah Palin was before saying “Kate McKinnon singlehandedly can destroy Hillary Clinton.”
He said the public perception of Palin was changed so much by Fey that McKinnon could have the same effect.
But as his co-hosts pointed out, that’s probably not going to happen because McKinnon is rooting for Clinton.
