Glenn Beck to Appear on CNN Tonight with Don Lemon

The Don Lemon–Glenn Beck lovefest continues Wednesday night. Following the CNN anchor’s appearance on Beck’s radio show on Monday, Mediaite has learned that Beck will be returning the favor, making a rare appearance on Lemon’s CNN Tonight during the 10 p.m. hour this evening.

It all started when Beck showered praise on Lemon for speaking out against liberal PC culture and extended the invitation to find some shared territory on his radio show. Lemon accepted the offer and suggested Beck stop by his show as well. “I welcome any attempt at reaching common ground,” Lemon told Mediaite.

During their short discussion on Monday, Lemon explained to Beck that he is liberal on some issues and conservative on others, but tends to draw the ire of both sides — something to which Beck can no doubt relate. The CNN anchor also admitted that he is “envious” of Beck’s independent operation. “I would love to have the platform that you have and the freedom that you have, Glenn,” he said. “It’s phenomenal and I commend you for it.”
