Hasselbeck Returns to Fox & Friends, Explains Mysterious Medical Absence

After taking a month off from Fox & Friends, host Elisabeth Hasselbeck returned to the show Friday morning and revealed that she had surgery to remove a tennis-ball sized benign tumor in her abdomen.

Hasselbeck told viewers this morning that she had an “extraordinary team” of doctors and nurses, who recommended that the tumor be removed immediately. She said she went through a scary week where she and her family did not know how bad it was, but it the end she is healthy. She thanked her production team, co-hosts, and Fox News CEO Roger Ailes for their support.

The co-hosts then surprised Hasselbeck with an adorable video of her kids impersonating the three co-hosts, which left Hasselbeck in tears.
