Hillary on Facing Trump: I Have Experience Taking On Men Who Go ‘Off the Reservation’
Hillary Clinton doesn’t seem concerned about facing Donald Trump in the general election, telling CNN’s Jake Tapper yesterday she’s dealt with men like him before.
Tapper brought up the personal attacks Trump has thrown her way and asked the likely Democratic nominee for president if she’s learned anything from the GOP’s unsuccessful attempts to take Trump down.
“I have a lot of experience dealing with men,” Clinton said, “who sometimes get off the reservation in the way they behave and the way they speak. I’m not gonna deal with their temper tantrums or their bullying or their efforts to try to provoke me.”
She dismissively referred to his “insult-fest” and said either he can’t get specific or won’t about policy.
Clinton ended up garnering outrage for her use of the phrase “off the reservation,” and the Clinton campaign actually had to make a statement today:
(1/2) About the use of an expression today that has some very offensive roots…Divisive language has no place in our politics.

(2/2) @HillaryClinton meant no disrespect to Native Americans. She wants this election to be about lifting people up, not tearing them down.
