Hot Mic Catches MAGA Reporter Bragging ‘Everyone Will Love’ His Question at Bombshell Trump Presser
A hot mic caught Real America’s Voice Chief White House Correspondent Brian Glenn bragging that “everyone will love” the question he planned to ask President Donald Trump at a bombshell press conference.
Glenn — who rose to prominence by hosting rally coverage for pro-Trump media outlet Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN) before joining the White House press pool for RAV under Trump — has become a reliably pro-Trump presence in the briefing room. He often draws groans with questions and antics that are over the top in their overt slant.
But as reporters waited in the briefing room for Trump to appear Monday to announce his takeover of local policing, Glenn aimed to please a different audience — his briefing room colleagues.
About 25 minutes before Trump appeared at the podium, Glenn emerged from the lower press office and drew a laugh by bluntly updating the assembled reporters that “NO” the Trump team did not seem ready to go. After a camera operator warned him about impeding shots, Glenn promised the crowd “My big head’s not gonna block any camera.”
When a faint announcement was heard over the PA system, reporters complained about what sounded like a lengthy delay. Glenn drew applause by volunteering to get to the bottom of things:
PA ANNOUNCEMENT: (INAUDIBLE)-thirty.
REPORTERS: 2:30? One more time? Did they say 2:30? I’m ready!
BRIAN GLENN: I’m gonna do it!
REPORTERS: All right, all right. Yeah!
(CHEERS)
REPORTER: Yeah!
BRIAN GLENN: Man of the people!
…
BRIAN GLENN: All right–. They made no official announcements, so I don’t know, whatever you heard, it didn’t come from them. So we’re still on stand by!
(APPLAUSE).
REPORTER: Thank you Brian!
BRIAN GLENN: Thank you very much. Thank you.
And everyone will love my second question today that I’m going to ask the president. Everybody in the room, love it. They’ll applaud it.
As predicted, his question did go over well with reporters, if not with Trump:
BRIAN GLENN: You are building a big, beautiful ballroom. Could we build a big, beautiful briefing room, more technology, more seats?
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: I don’t want to do that. I don’t want you to be comfortable. So, no, I don’t want to make life comfortable.
