Imus Producer: Chris Matthews is a ‘Bitter, Spittle-Spewing Psycho’

On Friday night’s edition of The O’Reilly Factor Friday night, Bill O’Reilly weighed in on the “Killing O’Reilly” joke Chris Matthews made about him on The Colbert Report earlier in the week. But while O’Reilly was rather tepid in his response, his guest, Imus in the Morning producer Bernard McGuirk, did not hold back his anger.

O’Reilly insisted that he “didn’t take offense” to Matthews comments, but McGuirk and his other guest Jesse Watters weren’t so sure. “Really, you think he wants to see me dead?” O’Reilly asked.

“I wouldn’t put it past him,” Bernard McGuirk replied. “He’s a bitter, spittle-spewing psycho this guy. People are very jealous of Bill O’Reilly right now.”

“There is good reason why he and his cohorts would want me dead,” O’Reilly said. “Ratings. I mean, come on.”

McGuirk agreed, saying, “They hate Bill O’Reilly.”
