‘Is This a Parody?’ Joe Scarborough Howls With Laughter at Sight of Republican Claiming Talarico Has ‘Low T’

Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough completely lost it Thursday as he howled with laughter mid-interview when he caught sight of Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, one of several Republicans claiming Democratic senatorial candidate James Talarico had “low T” – low testosterone.

Talarico appeared on MS NOW on Thursday morning to discuss his campaign when Scarborough raised the topic, curious about the new Republican attack line, deployed as an apparent attempt to question the Democratic hopeful’s masculinity and undermine him.

The interview, however, went off the rails when the host drew attention to Patrick, one of the individuals repeatedly pushing the “low T” smear.

Ken Paxton is obsessed with low T, and Pete Hegseth is obsessed with low T, Lieutenant Governor Patrick, actually, let’s take a look at him, he says you’re not manly enough to –” Scarborough completely broke, laughing uncontrollably as an image of Patrick came on-screen.

“This guy?” the host said, attempting to continue but in hysterics. “This guy says you’re not manly enough to represent the people of Texas! And he’s concerned about your low T levels! Your manliness.”

As Talarico began to respond, Scarborough fell into another bout of laughter: “Is this a parody?”

The candidate continued, as the host bellylaughed in the background, wailing, “Oh my God!”

Talarico argued voters were ignoring the attacks and were more interested in serious issues, like the economy.

Earlier in the show, the Morning Joe crew dogpiled on the idea after Brzezinski highlighted for viewers that Talarico would be joining them, prompting Scarborough to mock Hegseth’s new announcement that U.S. service members aged 30 and older will be screened for testosterone deficiency during their annual health exams.

In a video posted on X, Hegseth said those found to have low levels eligible to voluntarily receive hormone replacement therapy.

“These Trump allies sure do focus on ‘low T’ a lot,” the host cracked at the time. “I wonder why?”
