As long as there are politicians, there will be scandals, and CNN’s Jake Tapper will get the chance to dig into even more of them in another season of his CNN Original Series United States of Scandal.

The announcement on Wednesday, made ahead of the Warner Bros. Discovery upfronts, stated that Tapper’s successful series would return in 2025 with more scandalous stories to tell about all-too-human judgement calls that ended up in the news.

In a press release, Tapper said, “One thing our culture will never run dry of is scandal, so I am thrilled for the opportunity to dig into even more fascinating stories in season two. I was delighted to see audiences respond to these stories of human frailty as much as I have.”

No word on how many episodes have been ordered, but CNN described a new round Tapper exploring “what drives someone to break the rules and what happens when they are caught.”

The six-episode series, which was executive produced and hosted by Tapper, premiered in February to solid ratings as it delved into several memorable political scandals from the 2000s including disgraced presidential candidate John Edwards, former South Carolina governor and Appalachian Trail enthusiast Mark Sanford, Eliot “Client No. 9” Spitzer, and unmasked CIA agent Valerie Plame.
