Jasmine Crockett Laughs Off Report Calling Her ‘Boss From Hell’ Who ‘Terrorizes’ Staffers: ‘I Know That I Have Arrived, Honey!’

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) laughed off accusations that she’s a “boss from hell” who is “terrorizing” her staffers.

Crockett joined Major Garrett on CBS News’ The Takeout this week where Garrett asked the congresswoman about a New York Post report citing aides calling her a “no show” boss who has become a “diva.” Crockett burst into laughter as she was asked if she really was a “boss from hell.”

“Are you a no-show boss from hell who terrorizes staffers?” Garrett asked.

Crockett laughed hard before declaring the coverage is proof she’s “arrived.”

“Oh, my goodness. Listen, I know that I have arrived, honey! That is the way that I see this. Because as Beyoncé says, if they’re not talking about you, then obviously you must not be doing anything. You know what? This is just more slander, more nonsense. More lies um and honestly i don’t think that the new york post would probably be the first ones to be able to figure out if i was a boss from hell,” the congresswoman said.

The Post report cited three sources who worked with or for Crockett and claimed “she’s rarely present when TV cameras aren’t rolling — and terrorizes staff when she does appear.”

“She is laying around her apartment, won’t come into the office, and is really just indifferent to staff and will scream at them,” a former aide said.

Another source accused of her being more interested in being an “influencer” than a politician.

Crockett told Garrett she is under an unusual amount of scrutiny as a Black woman in her position.

“There’s a lot of scrutiny that comes my way and it comes my way from all different angles but when people start talking about you that’s when you know that you are obviously getting under their skin so I am not going to give up,” she said.
