‘Kicked His Ass Every Night’: Lindsey Graham Takes Some Credit for Biden Sending Military Aid to Ukraine
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) appeared on Hannity and told the host they’re partly responsible for getting President Joe Biden to send aid to Ukraine in its war with Russia.
Before introducing Graham on Thursday, Sean Hannity declared, “I’ve never been this concerned about America’s economic health and foreign policy disasters than I am right now.”
The host cited a CNN poll showing that 86% of Americans are either “concerned” or scared” about how things are going in the country. “These are dangerous times,” he said.
Hannity welcomed Graham to the show.
“Senator, I never thought in less than 18 months that you could destroy the best economy in the world, that you would abandon Americans in Afghanistan, that war would break out in Europe, and he would have a ho-hum attitude about the whole thing.”
The host stated Biden didn’t act fast enough to get Ukraine the assistance it needed.
“Biden’s policies are dumb and dangerous, Graham began. “They’re not working.”
He hit Biden on his immigration and energy policies.
“Biden’s never gonna change unless somebody makes him,” the senator continued. “The only reason he got more involved in Ukraine is because you and I and others kicked his ass every night, saying that you’re letting Putin win. You’re betting on Putin winning. How about Ukraine winning for a change?”
Earlier in the day the Senate passed a bill to send an additional $40 billion in aid after the House passed it las week. Biden is expected to sign the measure.
