Laura Ingraham Commends ICE Agent Who Threw Democratic Candidate To the Ground: ‘Good Work’

Fox News host Laura Ingraham applauded an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who threw a Democratic congressional candidate to the ground.

Kat Abughazaleh, a progressive influencer who is running for Congress in Illinois’ ninth district, joined a protest outside an ICE facility on Friday morning in Broadview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. At one point, agents in masks and full tactical gear cleared the area. One of the agents grabbed Abughazaleh and slammed her to the ground.

“This is what it looks like when ICE violates our First Amendment rights,” she tweeted, along with a video of the incident.

Hours later on The Ingraham Angle, the host noted an immigration protest in New York before turning her attention to Illinois. While discussing the protest, she commended the unidentified ICE agent who manhandled Abughazaleh, stating, “Good work”:

A similar situation in Chicago today where absolutely unhinged agitators worked to form a blockade – they don’t have actual jobs, but that is their job – in front of an ICE facility, including a Democrat congressional candidate who was thrown to the ground by an ICE agent. Good work.

President Donald Trump has surged immigration raids across the country. He has repeatedly indicated that he will send the National Guard to Chicago, ostensibly to fight crime. This month, he even posted a bizarre message on social media, threatening “war” against the city.

“I love the smell of deportations in the morning… Chicago about to find out why it’s called the Department of WAR,” Trump posted.
