Laura Ingraham Cuts Off Guest’s Mic in Heated Abortion Debate: ‘It’s Not a Piece of Tissue! It’s a Baby!’

Things got very intense on The Ingraham Angle on the subject of abortion.

On Tuesday night, Laura Ingraham tackled a recently court ruling that allowed young, pregnant illegal immigrants who come to the United States to have abortions. She had on trial attorney Rachel Self who specializes in immigration law to weigh in.

They almost immediately butted heads over which government agency was housing these pregnant illegal immigrants, but when Self said these girls wanted these abortions “taken care of,” that struck a nerve.

“‘Taken care of’- it’s a baby!” Ingraham reacted.

Ingraham asked Self if she had ever seen a six-month old pre-born baby. She then put up an image of a pre-born baby onscreen, even though Self herself couldn’t see it because she didn’t have a monitor. Ingraham told her to “check your DVR.”

“Look at that baby in the face!” Ingraham continued. “Look at that baby and you tell me-”

As Self continued to talk (since she still couldn’t see the image of the baby), Ingraham threatened to cut off her mic if she didn’t listen listen to her.

“Let’s not get sidetracked,” Self told Ingraham. “So we’re not interested in discussing the law, because that’s why I’m here.”

“As a human being, I just want you to look at that face,” Ingraham reiterated.

“Again, you’re showing things that I can’t see!” Self repeated

“I didn’t show you a hamster! I showed you a baby! A baby!” the Fox New host exclaimed. “It is a baby! I didn’t show you a hamster, it’s not a piece of tissue, it’s a baby! And it makes you very uncomfortable. That’s why you’re talking over me.”

Ultimately, Ingraham had enough and cut Self’s mic so that so that she could hear herself talk.
