‘Like Giving the Third Reich a Country!’ Fox’s Mark Levin Torches France and the UK Over Recognition of Palestinian State
Fox News’ Mark Levin lost it on France and the United Kingdom over the former’s recognition of — and the latter’s threat to recognize — a Palestinian state during an appearance on America’s Newsroom Wednesday.
Last week, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that his country would recognize a Palestinian state in September. Then on Tuesday, U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer threatened to do the same if Israel doesn’t wrap up its war against Hamas by September.
Levin does not approve.
“You know, it’s very interesting to hear the U.K. Prime Minister talk like that. You know in February 1945, the RAF, with the support of the United States Army Air Corps, obliterated Dresden, bombed it into smithereens,” he observed at the outset of a lengthy monologue. “We bombed Tokyo repeatedly, we bombed Berlin repeatedly, because these were population centers. We know well about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I’m a little sick and tired of these Western Europeans lecturing the state of Israel about how to fight a war. If they had had their way, Israel already would have surrendered to Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah, and the Houthis.”
“Let me explain a few things, if I might. If you listen to that man there, think about what he’s asking Israel to do. It’s an impossibility. Have peace in Gaza without Hamas, make sure the people are fed. Well, isn’t that lovely? And exactly what have the Brits done to accomplish that? Exactly what have the French done to accomplish that? Everything they’re saying and everything they’re doing is giving aid and comfort to Hamas,” he continued.
Levin concluded:
John Spencer did a great — he’s an expert — did a great review. This is the only country in the history of modern warfare that has fed the citizens of its enemy in a time of war. We didn’t do it in World War II for the Germans and the Japanese, hell no. We didn’t do it during the Korean War, we didn’t do it during the Vietnam War, we didn’t do it in Afghanistan, we didn’t do it in Iraq.
We have never done it, no country’s ever done it! So Israel, their IDF is dying, they’re dying every day, nobody cares about it, nobody reports about it. They’re fighting a defensive war, they’ve said enough is enough, and they’re being told, “You need to feed the enemy while you defeat the enemy, while you have a ceasefire, while you have peace,” and this jackass in Britain is sitting there saying, “We’re going to have a two-state solution.” Somebody posted, “That’s like giving the Third Reich a country before it’s defeated!”
