Maher Wants to See Hillary Clinton-Elizabeth Warren ‘Granny Ticket’

Bill Maher sat down for an interview with Larry King set go live Thursday night at 10 p.m. on Ora.tv. When King brought up some possible candidates for 2016, Maher said what he would really like to see is the “granny ticket” of Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren.
On her own, Maher said he thought Hillary Clinton is a “centrist, corporatist type” not unlike her potential Republican opponent Jeb Bush. “I can’t see either one of them doing anything bold like demanding a carbon tax,” Maher said, adding that while the “geniuses” across America who answer polls may not rate climate change high on a list of priorities, but “it’s obviously the most important issue of our time.”
As for who on Democratic side does show the fortitude to get things done and make significant changes, Maher pointed to Sen. Warren. “I think somebody like Elizabeth Warren, one of the most gutsy people I’ve seen in politics in a long time — she’s somebody, I think, who would really say what she feels and she may not ever win anything, but I’d love to see her run with Hillary.”
“How about that? A granny ticket,” he joked.
