Megyn Kelly: Is Obama Damaging Christian Morale?

Fox’s Megyn Kelly led her show tonight with President Obama‘s comments about “less-than-loving” Christians, getting pretty fired up about it. Kelly quickly pivoted to say, “His remarks come as Christians are increasingly being targeted by terrorists worldwide” (invoking Christians being slaughtered by ISIS and in Kenya).

But when guest Tony Perkins, just minutes later, said that Obama’s “hostility towards Christianity” is “fostering an environment where tyrants and terrorists feel free to kill people,” Kelly told him that’s “taking it a bit too far.” Perkins still stood by his comments.

Kelly recalled Obama’s recent comments about Christians not getting on their “high horse” in criticizing radical Islam, and made this observation:

“I mean, the question is whether those comments do real damage not just to morale among Christians about what their own president thinks of them, but… that they feel he won’t stand up for Christians who are under threat.”
