Morning Joe Can’t Handle Latest ‘Hysterical’ Trump Tweets: ‘A Total Meltdown’

Morning Joe took on President Donald Trump’s Sunday morning tweetstorm in which he denied existence of collusion between his campaign and Russia, while claiming the real scandal lay with his former opponent, Hillary Clinton.

Trump blasted out a flurry of tweets on Sunday, railing against special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe and expressing outrage at “the lack of investigation on Clinton made Fake Dossier.”

As MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski read out Trump’s tweets, she paused to remind viewers: “This is our president.”

“Here’s a total meltdown,” co-host Joe Scarborough added.

“This is a mess — do you want me to keep reading?” Brzezinski asked. “First of all it’s inarticulate, and secondly it seems hysterical.”

“Well, it’s also false,” Scarborough said.

The Morning Joe host went on to claim that there was “a meltdown by several Trump loyalists this weekend,” referencing Roger Stone’s banning from Twitter after he went on a Twitter rage against CNN.

Scarborough suggested that the meltdowns are a result of the latest news that an indictment in Mueller’s investigation into Trump’s campaign ties to Russia is expected Monday.
