Must-See Late Night Clip: Anderson Cooper Admits He’s ‘Totally Obsessed’ with Missing Plane Story

Anderson Cooper is apparently loving CNN’s wall-to-wall coverage of the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 just as much as his viewers. During an interview with Seth Meyers Monday night, Cooper had to admit he’s “totally obsessed with the story.”

“It’s one of those stories, you just can’t figure out what is going on,” Cooper said. “Every day there’s something new, and it takes twists and turns.” He said he’s hearing from friends he hasn’t spoken to in years who have random conspiracy theories about what really happened to the missing plane. “To me, it’s a fascinating, just a bizarre, horrible story.”

The craziest theory he’s getting from people? That a UFO stole the plane. Cooper is assuming that it crashed, but said, “nobody knows.” He added that if he can lose his cell phone and find it later, they should be able to find this plane.
