‘My King?!’ Jeanine Pirro Takes Exception to Jessica Tarlov’s Description of Trump

Fox News host Jessica Tarlov shaded her colleague Jeanine Pirro on Friday’s edition of The Five as the two locked horns over President Donald Trump’s recent White House renovations.

Tarlov noted conservatives were critical of changes at the White House under the Biden administration before she turned to referred to Trump as Pirro’s “king.”

Trump grabbed headlines this week for bringing gold into the White House from his Florida resort. He also intends to pave over grass in the Rose Garden in order to entertain guests on a newly installed patio.

CNN reported the following on the changes that have ruffled feathers among traditionalists:

Nearly eight weeks since returning to office, Trump has tripled the number of paintings hanging on the office walls. Shelves and surfaces are adorned with flags, statues and ornaments.

And in keeping with the style he has adhered to for decades, there is gold everywhere: new gold vermeil figurines on the mantle and medallions on the fireplace, gold eagles on the side tables, gilded Rococo mirrors on the doors, and, nestled in the pediments above the doorways, diminutive gold cherubs shipped in from Mar-a-Lago. Even the remote control for the television down the hall is wrapped in gilt.

On The Five, the show’s panel discussed the changes at the White House. Pirro defended Trump’s changes and slammed his detractors.

Pirro slammed the Biden White House and added, “Your office should reflect who you are. My office reflects who I am, and it’s none of your damn business, and the same with the president.”

Tarlov then read criticisms from the right on changes former President Joe Biden made during his term in office.

“This is ritualistic that the other side just criticizes the other side’s decor,” she said.

Pirro commented she found criticism of Trump’s renovations “boring” as Tarlov finished reading critiques of the White House:

PIRRO: I mean that’s the whole point. Boring.

TARLOV: That is not the point, you’re upset that they’re criticizing your King and I’m telling you –

PIRRO: Oh, my king?

TARLOV: You’re–

PIRRO: Oh, the king? No, he’s the president.
