Former Obama Adviser Blasts Tucker Carlson Segment: ‘Equal Parts Racist, Dumb, and Inaccurate’

Dan Pfeiffer, a senior adviser to former President Barack Obama, lambasted Tucker Carlson on Wednesday on a segment from the Fox News host’s show.

The Carlson segment that drew Pfeiffer’s ire covered the changing demographics in America “without any real public debate on the subject,” per the Fox host.

Carlson cited a National Geographic story on a coal mining town in Pennsylvania that has become majority Hispanic.

“Now before you start calling anyone bigoted, consider — and be honest — how would you feel if that happened in your neighborhood?” Tucker asked.

Well, Pfeiffer took Carlson up on his offer, slamming the segment in a tweet, writing, “This is equal parts racist, dumb, and inaccurate.”

Carlson noted in his segment that while “most immigrants are nice,” demographic shifts are “more change than human beings are designed to digest.”

He concluded by hitting “our leaders” for living in places not affected by changes in demographic, saying “they caused all of this with their reckless immigration policy.”

“Our leaders are for diversity, just not where they live,” he concluded.
