O’Reilly Confronts Dobbs Over Refusal to Say Anything Negative About Trump: So He’s Jesus?
Bill O’Reilly razzed colleague Lou Dobbs a bit tonight when he refused to say anything remotely critical about Donald Trump.
Dobbs might very well be the most pro-Trump pundit on Fox. Yes, even moreso than Sean Hannity and Eric Bolling. Why? Because he has a level of-pro Trump enthusiasm even those guys lack, gushing over Trump every day and using #MakeAmericaGreatAgain in a lot of his tweets.
Also, there’s this hilarious North-Korean-propaganda-esque tweet from March:
Clinton-Kasich coughing, Rubio Sick While Trump is Everywhere Campaigning , Getting Stronger…Outworking the Bunch. #MakeAmericaGreatAgain
— Lou Dobbs (@LouDobbs) March 13, 2016
O’Reilly tonight said Trump should release his tax returns while Dobbs adamantly refused, which led to O’Reilly asking Dobbs if he can say anything remotely critical about The Donald at all.
Dobbs dodged and said O’Reilly’s just playing the mainstream media’s game (he briefly said there were “a number of things” he could be critical of Trump on, but wouldn’t say), and O’Reilly started laughing and asked him if he’s being vetted for VP or something.
O’Reilly asked, “If nothing that he does––if he’s Jesus, how can you analyze him?”
And he ended the segment by saying, “According to Dobbs, Donald Trump is Jesus… And Jesus never put out his tax returns!”
