O’Reilly: Liberals Desperately Playing Race Card to Win Midterms

Bill O’Reilly went after MSNBC and the left tonight for playing the race card on Ebola, a tactic he believed is being deliberately exploited to turn out black voters to help Democrats win the midterm elections. O’Reilly went off in reaction to Howard Fineman saying on MSNBC yesterday that there is a racial subtext in conservative concerns about Muslims, immigrants, and Ebola.

O’Reilly declared that the U.S. is simply “not a racist nation” and it’s disingenuous to say so. He acknowledged individual racism still exists, but said all Americans should be disturbed that their country is “being smeared with the bigotry brush.”

And what’s the ultimate goal here? Getting black voters to turn out for the midterms. “That is why,” O’Reilly concluded, “liberal zealots are trying to demonize their country by playing the race card.”
