O’Reilly Scolds Racial ‘Provocateurs,’ Calls Black Lives Matter a ‘Hate America Group’

billBill O’Reilly tonight went after racial “provocateurs” and the Black Lives Matter movement in the wake of various serious incidents this week.

He did make it clear that law enforcement agencies need to get their act together and address the fact that there are “too many” fatal mistakes, but he said he’s resisted some of the coverage of the shootings of black men this week because “emotions were white hot.”

He singled out comments made by Don Lemon, Spike Lee, and CNN commentator Bakari Sellers this week about black men being killed or “hunted” by the police.

O’Reilly then got around to Black Lives Matter. And while the Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas was peaceful before the shooting started, he highlighted how protesters got a little rowdier in Oakland.

“Black Lives Matter,” he concluded, “inflames rather than illuminates. It is essentially a ‘hate America’ group.”
