Pence On Clinton’s Growing Lead In Polls: ‘Something Missing In The Polling These Days’

pence-fox-trump-pollseditedDuring an appearance on Fox & Friends earlier today, GOP vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence wasn’t convinced that the Trump campaign is as far behind as recent polls suggest.

After the hosts brought up the latest Fox News poll showing Hillary Clinton up by seven points when including third-party candidates, the Indiana Governor expressed his belief that the surveys aren’t capturing all of Donald Trump’s voters.

“These polls have been all over the map,” Pence stated. “I honestly think there’s something missing in the polling these days.”

When asked what he meant, Pence expanded on his answer.

“I think Donald Trump has made a connection to the frustrations and the aspirations of everyday Americans like no one in my lifetime since Ronald Reagan.”

Pence further bolstered his case by noting that seven in 10 voters feel that the nation is heading in the wrong direction, claiming that they’ll decide to vote for change.

Meanwhile, the RealClearPolitics average of national polls shows Clinton up by 6.7 points in a head-to-head matchup with Trump.
