PETA Slams Beyoncé For Wearing Leather, Python And Iguana For Super Bowl Halftime Show
After her flawless, non-lip-synched Super Bowl halftime performance, it seemed that Beyoncé would be out of the controversy woods for at least a little while. But now PETA is going after the singer for her choice of outfit, which according to The New York Times contained elements of leather, python and iguana.
The animal rights group released the following statement condemning her fashion decisions:
We would take a bet that if Beyoncé watched our video exposés here and here, she’d probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits, or other animals who died painfully. Today’s fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyoncé’s Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score.
