RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel: Democrats Should Be Denouncing Tom Perez’s ‘Concerning’ Rhetoric
RNC Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel said this morning that Democrats should be denouncing recent heated rhetoric from DNC Chair Tom Perez.
As Perez was going after President Trump and Republicans at a recent New Jersey event, he said that protesters are sending Trump a message that he “didn’t win this election.” He also said, in talking about the recent Republican health care legislation, that Trump and the GOP “don’t give a shit about people.”
After releasing a statement yesterday calling his comments “dangerous,” McDaniel said on Fox & Friends today that it’s “deeply concerning” to see Perez “continue to try and delegitimize this election.”
“I think the Democrats should be denouncing his behavior this weekend,” she added. “To say Republicans don’t give a blank about people, that should not be rhetoric that the head of the Democratic Party should be using.”
