S.E. Cupp Rips Trump for ‘War!’ Tweet Attacking the Media: ‘You’ve Never Seen War’
HLN’s S.E. Cupp tore into President Donald Trump today for his latest anti-media tweets, particularly this accusation:
The Fake News hates me saying that they are the Enemy of the People only because they know it’s TRUE. I am providing a great service by explaining this to the American People. They purposely cause great division & distrust. They can also cause War! They are very dangerous & sick!

Cupp noted the recent concerns about increased threats to journalists, including the death threat against Brian Stelter and Don Lemon from a C-SPAN caller, before saying “this President is all-too-encouraging of the public’s hostility against the media.”
“Nothing the President tweeted is true,” she added, debunking Trump’s claims about the press’ response to his constant attacks.
“What you’re doing is the opposite of a great service. It is a detriment to democracy and freedom. It’s not patriotic, it’s un-American,” Cupp said.
As for the “cause War!” part, she concluded with this:
“All due respect, Mr. President, you’ve never seen war. Many of the journalists you besmirch, unlike you, have put their lives at risk to cover important stories of war, genocide, human trafficking, political revolution, disease, natural disasters––journalists don’t cause division and distrust, you do. We are, however, dangerous. You are right about that. We’re dangerous to dictators and to authoritarians. We’re dangerous to misinformation and those who would wield it. We’re dangerous especially to people in power, like you.”
