Tapper Presses Trump: Would ‘Love’ to See Evidence You Were Anti-Iraq War Before It Began
When Donald Trump brought up his Iraq War position on CNN this morning, Jake Tapper confronted him and said he has “looked so long and hard for any evidence” he was against the war from the beginning.
Trump questioned the war after it began, but he’s claimed he was against it since before it even started. Absolutely zero evidence has come out supporting that.
Trump insisted this morning he was against it and there’s not a lot of public record about it because he wasn’t really asked about it back then.
Tapper kept calling him out on it and said, “If there is evidence of you being against the war, strongly, before the war actually started, I would love to see it.”
Trump responded, “I think there is evidence, I’ll see if I can get it.”
Earlier this year, Trump insisted he would provide that evidence. That was four months ago.
