Trump Defends Repeating Cruz ‘P*ssy’ Attack: It Was Like a Verbal Retweet

Just when you wonder how “pussygate” could possibly get any weirder, Donald Trump gave a rather interesting defense of his attack on Ted Cruz this morning on Fox.

Just to review, Trump last night brought up a supporter calling Cruz a pussy and said it’s “terrible”… while everyone in the room cheered. And he didn’t seem at all sorry about repeating it.

On Fox & Friends today, Steve Doocy and Tucker Carlson played the clip and laughed a little.

Trump brought up the woman who shouted the word at him––which he repeated––and said, “It’s like a retweet. I would never say a word like that.”

But again, it didn’t seem like he was bothered at all by it, because “the audience went crazy, standing ovation.”
