Trump Sends Warning to Oprah Over 2020: ‘I Know Her Weakness’
President Donald Trump spoke at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday night to support a GOP congressional candidate before the state’s special election — and it was a tour de force return to his greatest campaign trail hits, replete with jabs at the media, proclamations about North Korea and insults lobbed at his political rivals.
One notable mention? Oprah Winfrey, the talk show titan who has been the subject of more 2020 presidential campaign scrutiny than almost anyone else — despite asserting that she will not seek office.
Trump dished about his potential 2020 rivals, claiming that if he doesn’t win the election, the media’s ratings will go down.
“Can you imagine covering Bernie? Or Pocahontas?” Trump joked about Democratic senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
He then pivoted to Winfrey, telling the raucous crowd: “Oh I’d love Oprah to win, I’d love to beat Oprah.”
“I know her weakness,” Trump said mysteriously. “You know I know her very well.”
“But think of it, I know her weakness,” he reiterated. “Wouldn’t we love to run against Oprah? I would love it.”
“That would be a painful experience for her,” he concluded ominously.
