Trump Surrogate: All He Has to Do Is Prove He’s Not Hitler, ‘Which Is Going to Be Easy’

On CNN earlier today, a Donald Trump surrogate said that it’s easier for Trump to overcome the negative perceptions about him than it will be for Hillary Clinton.

KABC talk radio host John Phillips said that all of Ted Cruz‘s attacks aren’t working and declared, “If Donald Trump is going to win the general election, he’s going to have to prove to the public that he’s not Adolf Hitler, which is going to be easy for him to do.”

Clinton, on the other hand, is “going to have to prove that she’s not Hillary Clinton,” which Phillips said would be much harder to do.

The Cruz surrogate on air remarked that he would have been attacked if he dared mention Trump and Hitler in the same breath.
