Walker: Other GOPers Should Drop Out Too So We Can Get Behind Alternative to Trump

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker today announced he’s getting out of the Republican race for the presidency and suggested others do the same.

Walker talked up the long record of the Republican party and what it stands for before lamenting how the GOP message these days has “drifted into personal attacks.”He announced he’s dropping out so “a positive, conservative message can rise to the top of the field.”

He lamented continued, “I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to consider doing the same so the voters can focus on a limited number of candidates who can offer a positive, conservative alternative to the current frontrunner.”
