When And Where to Watch The White House Correspondents Dinner Live

Tonight is the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, unofficially but affectionately known as Nerd Prom. The event is a celebration of the White House press corps, and brings together a collection of journalists, television personalities, politicians and D.C. power players.
Traditionally, the President and the First Lady attend for some lighthearted chiding.
The event always features a star-studded red carpet, dinner, presentation of awards and scholarships, followed by the always highly anticipated roast.
Who’s headlining?
Michelle Wolf, a writer and comedian best known as a contributor for The Daily Show With Trevor Noah. Her new HBO special Nice Lady, is out now.
Is President Trump going to show up?
No. He’s holding his own competing party, a rally in Macomb County, Michigan, in the same time-slot.
Where can I watch?
The red carpet kicks off at around 7 p.m., and CNN and MSNBC plan to cover it live. Fox News will cover segments of the evening, and all three cable networks will also be covering Trump’s rally speech.
C-SPAN will cover the event live from 9:30 p.m., when the awards are scheduled to be presented. Wolf’s roast follows the awards, and the event is expected to wrap up by 11 p.m.
You can check back on Mediaite, as we’ll be posting a live stream of the event.
