Whoopi Goldberg Rails Against Supreme Court: ‘Get Out of My Vagina!’
While discussing the retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy, the women of ABC’s The View got into a tussle over reproductive rights, as Whoopi Goldberg declared everyone “get out of my vagina!” while arguing with conservative co-host Meghan McCain.
Kennedy’s exit gives President Donald Trump a chance to appoint a second right-wing justice to the bench, which Goldberg and Joy Behar viewed as a chance for Republicans to try and overturn the flagship abortion rights case Roe v. Wade.
“Let’s have everybody a Republican — the Supreme Court, the Congress, the presidency!” Behar said. “What is that called? Dictatorship, I believe!”
Goldberg continued the scuffle by going on the following rant:
“As a woman, I think you’re trying to take my rights away. Okay? You don’t care. And as a person, who believes in the constitution which tells me that I have the right to be myself and do the things I want to do, and I don’t have to listen to what your religion is, and I don’t have to listen to what you want it to be I have to make sure that as an American citizen, I’m doing the right stuff and taking care of business.”
The co-host continued by saying that no one has the right “to judge what I do for my family and my body.”
“You don’t want people to take your guns?” She aggressively asked. “Get out of my behind! Get out of my vagina! Get out!”
