‘Why Don’t You Shut the F*ck Up?’: Cenk Uygur Blasts Sean Hannity’s Ferguson Coverage

The Young Turks’ Cenk Uygur was not amused by Sean Hannity’s interview Wednesday night with Democratic committeewoman Patricia Bynes from Ferguson, Missouri. After Hannity repeatedly berated the woman, asking her, “Were you there at the shooting?” Uygur turned the question around on the Fox News host.

“Hey Sean, I’ve got a question for you: Were you there?” Uygur asked. “I mean, you’ve got all these assumptions — ‘Oh, the cops, gotta respect the cops, maybe he had his head down and he was charging, he was doing all these things.’ Wait, Sean. Why don’t you shut the fuck up, because you weren’t there?”

“No, you weren’t there, so shut the fuck up,” Uygur repeated. “Why are you still talking?”

At another point in Hannity’s interview, he told the elected official, “Let me educate you about the legal system in America.”

“‘Let me educate you?'” Uygur said. “How condescending is that?”
