‘My Life Expectancy is Maybe This Summer’: Dilbert Creator Scott Adams Reveals He Has Same Cancer as Biden
Cartoonist and Dilbert creator Scott Adams provided a haunting assessment of former President Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis, revealing he faces a similar battle with the same disease and that he expects to die in the summer.
On his Real Coffee With Scott Adams YouTube show, Adams opened with the news of Biden’s cancer diagnosis, and questioned whether it was something he’s known about for a while, citing a “gaffe from about three years ago.”
Adams then turned it over to his own personal fight.
“Well, I’ve decided today’s the day I’m going to take the opportunity — since a lot of you are here — to make an announcement of my own. Some of you have already guessed, so it won’t surprise you at all, but I have the same cancer Joe Biden has. So I also have prostate cancer that has also spread to my bones. I’ve had it longer than he’s had — well longer than he’s admitted having it.”
“My life expectancy is … maybe the summer. I expect to be checking out from this domain sometime this summer.”

While the news is certainly a shock to most of his fans, Adams is keeping a positive attitude, despite the fact that “every day is a nightmare.”
“This could be much worse,” he said. “I’m handling it quite well.”
