Trump Gets Grilled Hard By Reporter Who Keeps Asking About Stormy Daniels During Friendly Photo Op
Former President Donald Trump was grilled hard by a persistent reporter during an early-morning photo op with screaming fans at a construction site.
Thursday was a packed day for Trump, with Trump’s trial on 34 felony counts of allegedly falsifying business records to pay off porn star Stormy Daniels continuing in New York and his Supreme Court immunity hearing getting underway in Washington, DC.
Trump began the day with an early-morning campaign stop at a construction site, where he signed autographs and mingled with delirious fans, took questions from a few reporters, repeated many familiar themes, and then headed to the courthouse.
The stop was covered extensively on Thursday’s edition of Fox & Friends, including one reporter flat-out asking Trump if he knew about the payments to Daniels. Eventually, Trump walked off with the reporter still shouting:
REPORTER: We’re about to have our own support of David Pecker’s testimony so far? When was the last time you spoke to him?
DONALD TRUMP: No, he’s been very nice. I mean, he’s been. David’s been very nice. Nice guy.
MALE REPORTER: Did you know. Mr. president, did you know–?
DONALD TRUMP: What’s that?
REPORTER: Presidential immunity. Are you confident that justice–.
DONALD TRUMP: We have a big case today in the Supreme Court on presidential immunity. A president has to have immunity. If you don’t have immunity. You just have a ceremonial president. You won’t have him.
MALE REPORTER: Mr President! Did you knew about the payments to Stormy Daniels?
DONALD TRUMP: So we have a big. We have a very big case. A very big case going on.
MALE REPORTER: Did you know about the payment?

DONALD TRUMP: They’re very talented people, they’re very smart. They knew what you do. They’re going to be very smart.
MALE REPORTER: Did you know about the payment to Stormy Daniels?
ALEXIS MCADAMS: So you guys heard that right there? I mean, he’s pretty confident, here and what’s going on in New York City in terms of turning people, what he says on his team here who might have been lifelong Democrats.
