Trump Goes Off After Bill Maher Savages Him As ‘Rapist’ And More In Brutal Show Open

Former President Donald Trump went off on comic and pundit Bill Maher after Maher savaged Trump as a rapist and a racist to start his show.

On Friday night’s edition of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, the comic’s panel guests were Batya Ungar-Sargon and Tim Ryan, and his interview guest was Dr. Phil McGraw.

Shortly after Midnight Saturday, about an hour after the show ended, Trump took to Truth Social to attack Maher. Trump wrote:

Bill Maher is the worst! He never got it, and never will. Bad ratings, a big fail on CNN shot, major case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME. Not worth the watch!

Trump was a frequent topic during the show, but it was likely Maher’s opening salvo that set Trump off.

During his monologue, Maher devoted several jokes to Trump’s dueling border visits with President Joe Biden in which he portrayed Trump as a rapist and a racist, and also hit Trump’s Supreme Court appeal:

BILL MAHER: Did you have a good leap day? It only comes once every four years. We got to enjoy it when it happens. Trump would not acknowledge it. He thinks it’s a woke plot to make Black History Month longer.

So he was at the border yesterday. The border with Mexico. I mean. And so was Biden. They had like dueling press conferences there. And they were very close. You could they could see across the border that the people there in the people could see them. Boy a scarecrow and a jack-a-legit.

And that doesn’t stop them from coming. I don’t think anything will.

But, yeah. Trump was in, Biden. No, Biden was in the City of Brownsville, which to me sounds like something Trump would call Mexico. He’s in Brownsville! Coming from Brownsville, they’re bringing crime, they’re raping– remember when he said that?

Remember when we first saw him, when he first came out, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. Turns out the jobs that were coming for were his!

Oh, I kid Donald Trump, always in a good-humored fashion.
