A Bull Wandered Around Queens and Jon Stewart Showed Up to Take It In

So a bull wandered around Queens two days ago.

According to The New York Times, the bull wandered from a farm upstate into Jamaica and ended up at York College.

The bovine was isolated on the college lawn and eventually the police took it in.

But if you think that’s not interesting enough, it turns out this was a Jon Stewart “takedown” of a different sort.

Yes, the former Daily Show host currently runs an animal sanctuary and was notified about the loose bull. So he showed up to meet the bull and feed him hay.

Feeding Frank

Breaking News: We are happy to report that the bull who was on the run earlier today in Queens is safe and on his way to Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, NY. Jon and Tracey Stewart picked up the individual whom we are calling Frank this afternoon from Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC). Special thanks to our colleague Mike Stura of Skylands Animal Sanctuary And Rescue who drove out to assist with the transport. More info to come.

Stewart brought him to the sanctuary and the bull will eventually go to an animal hospital.

You can watch footage of the bull above, via Fox 11.
