Ann Coulter Lashes Out at ‘Snarling Muslim’ Khizr Khan
Ann Coulter, the conservative pundit, author, would-be comic, and fervent Donald Trump supporter, lashed out at Khizr Khan, the father of an Iraq War veteran who spoke out against Trump at the DNC, calling him a “snarling Muslim.”
“I don’t know America very well if they want to listen to a snarling Muslim lecture them and tell us we’re not allowed to have opinions on important public policy issues unless we had a son die in Iraq,” she told Australian television host Andrew Bolt on Monday.

After Khan delivered a searing address on the final night of the DNC, Trump engaged in a public feud with the Gold Star Family, and his surrogates and supporters ably followed his lead in attacking the Khans: Ben Carson insisted that the Khans should apologize for slandering Trump. Al Baldasaro, a New Hampshire state representative and Trump adviser, said Khan had “disgraced” his son by “us[ing] him as a political pawn.” Trump ally Roger Stone said initially that Khan was a “Muslim Brotherhood agent helping Hillary,” but then amended his remarks to tie Khan to the 9/11 attacks.
Coulter had previously accused Khan of being an “angry Muslim with a thick accent.”
