Barbara Boxer to Giuliani: Ask Osama bin Laden if President Obama Loves America

The national game of “Who can out-patriot whom” continued late last night when retiring Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) started a tweet-storm aimed at former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

For those who somehow don’t know by now, Giuliani claimed in a private dinner that President Barack Obama “doesn’t love” America. Ever since then, it’s been a media frenzy that, at times, has descended into self-parody.

Sen. Boxer decided to get her punch in before the story possibly (not likely) dies (and before her final term is up): “Hey Rudy, why don’t you ask Osama bin Laden if President Obama loves America?”

Despite that one being the most fiery of all her tweets, this one somehow got even more attention:
