#BlackLivesMatter Protesters Gather in Mall of America After Judge Bars 3 Activists
#BlackLivesMatter protesters are gathering in the Mall of America today after a judge ruled on the restraining order the mall filed to stop the protest.
Protesters flooded the Mall of America last December, and roughly 25 out of the 1500 protesters were arrested. The Mall of America claims that the protest hurt their business during the holiday shopping season.
The Mall of America attempted to file the restraining order this week, but according to The Wall Street Journal, Minnesota judge Karen Janisch did not rule in favor of a broad restraining order against the Minneapolis chapter of #BlackLivesMatter.
She did, however, issue an order against three specific activists: Michael McDowell, Miski Noor, and Kandance Montgomery.
In any case, protesters showed up at the Mall of America today to make their voices heard. They were greeted with this message:
