Boehner Slams Obamacare Extension: ‘What the Hell Is This, a Joke?’

The White House announced an Obamacare extension last night that would give people a few weeks extra time to completely enroll, despite past assurances that there would be no additional extensions. John Boehner reacted succinctly in a press conference earlier today: “What the hell is this, a joke?”

Boehner rolled his eyes at “yet another delay of Obamacare, another deadline made meaningless.” He slammed the White House for another attempt at “manipulating the laws for its own convenience,” illustrating, he said, why so many people worry about their respect for the rule of law.

Obamacare will likely be a major campaign issue in this year’s midterms, even with a leading Democratic pollster warning candidates not to defend the health care law.
