BREAKING: Trump Motorcade Got in Motor Vehicle Accident

CNN is reporting this afternoon that there was a car accident involving Donald Trump‘s motorcade:

Breaking from @JohnKingCNN: A vehicle within Donald Trump’s motorcade was in an accident in New York on route to the airport this afternoon

According to CNN, it was a staff car that got hit and Trump himself is not injured.

Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort said on-air right after they reported that “everything is fine” and Trump is currently flying to Cleveland.

UPDATE –– 6:19 pm EDT: An update from the Secret Service:

FACT CHECK: Media report re Trump motorcade accident. Vehicles involved were operated by campaign staff and NOT part of motorcade.
