Breitbart Colluded With Liberal Activist to ‘Sabotage’ Trump’s GOP Primary Opponents

breitbart_logoAccording to a report from Politico, alt-right website Breitbart collaborated with a liberal activist allied with Hillary Clinton in order to attack Republicans standing in the way of a Donald Trump primary victory.

The most recent undercover video series from James O’Keefe‘s Project Veritas targets a liberal activist and former Occupy Wall Street organizer named Aaron Black known for his campaign stunts targeting Republican presidential candidates. Most notably, Black dressed like a robot to follow around Marco Rubio after Rubio repeated himself several times during a Republican debate. In the Project Veritas video, Black talks candidly about his plan to disrupt and cause violence at Trump rallies.

But despite naming and shaming every other shady operative in the videos, when Breitbart wrote about the story, they never named Black. According to sources familiar with the situation, the reason is because Breitbart and Black had something of a working relationship during the primaries.

“According to the source, Black coordinated with Breitbart via email, phone and in person, including when he dressed up as a robot and trolled Marco Rubio’s events. The relationship was described as very friendly,” Politico writes. “An article subsequently published on Breitbart featured video footage of a physical confrontation between Black and Rubio’s New Hampshire campaign chairman.”

“He worked directly with Breitbart’s political team on the ground in the primary states to sabotage Marco Rubio & Ted Cruz, and elect Trump as nominee of the party,” the source said. “[Black] was coordinating with [Breitbart’s] top staff to rabble rouse against Rubio at rallies.”

Breitbart strongly denied allegations during the primary that they supported Trump, and ironically accused Never Trump Republicans of being a secret “Democratic plot.” Breitbart’s head honcho Steve Bannon would later become the Trump campaign CEO.
